Military Coffee Chat Registration
We invite all active duty service members, reservists, and veterans in Gies Online Programs to our coffee chat. Join our recruitment team and current student veterans as they discuss their successes, answer questions and share advice and resources. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow military members and veterans, exchange perspectives, and share valuable resources that have enhanced your experience in the program.

Upcoming Changes to Business Analytics Specialization Courses
| Beginning this fall, courses in the Business Analytics specialization will be updated to keep the curriculum aligned with faculty expertise, industry trends, and evolving job market demands. The specialization will:

Transition from R to Python as the primary programming language.
-
Integrate SQL, APIs, and automation into coursework.
-
Incorporate the FACT framework for analytics workflows, new data structures, and enhanced hands-on exercises in data manipulation and visualization.

Your Canvas Course Page Has a Time Limit
Canvas
course pages are available for eight weeks from the end of the last course module, as stated in each course syllabus. After eight weeks from the end date, you will no longer have access to your course(s) dashboard in Canvas.
Save any documents
before that date for your personal archives. Your access to course content and videos in Coursera will not expire.
Grouping Preference Form
At the beginning of each 8-week session, you should update your availability for your course groups on the
Grouping Preference Form
. The grouping preference tool translates your time preferences into UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) so you can be grouped in your courses with individuals with similar availability around the globe. Take a moment today to finalize your availability!
Memorial Day Holiday Closure
The University will be closed on

o honor the lives of US military members who have fallen while serving in the armed forces. Please refer to your course syllabi for assignment deadlines and live session schedules. University offices will be closed, and responses via email will be delayed during this time. There will be no At-a-Glance newsletter sent that week. The University will reopen on Tuesday, May 27.
Summer and Fall Registration
Registration for Summer and Fall is now underway. If you register for Fall courses now, you will not be charged tuition until the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester. The
Course Offerings Page
will guide your course selection. Click on the course offerings link for your program and select “View Summer or Fall 2025 Courses" to locate Course Registration Numbers (CRNs), live session schedules, and course MOOCs. Recommended registration deadlines for soft launch access are also available on the course offerings page.
Registration will not be permitted after
11:59 pm CT
on the first day of class. Courses may also reach capacity so secure a seat on your upcoming course today! If you have a question about registration or course planning please
